Shift confirmations for Australian traffic management

Nobody plays phone tag at 5am.

CrewRing texts and calls your crew about tomorrow's shifts, logs every reply, and finds cover when someone drops out.

Shift details go out by SMS or a voice call.

Shift tmrw 06:00, Tweed Heads. YES or NO?

    YES

SMS or a call, per worker.

  3. As replies land

    See who’s locked in

One board shows confirmed, awaiting and declined.

    31/38

    31 confirmed, 5 awaiting, 2 declined

  4. 05:12, a drop-out

    Handle exceptions only

A decline becomes a callout to your best available backups.

    1. Sam K. declined
    2. Callout → 8 workers
    3. Jess M. accepted

The result: instead of 30-90 minutes of phone calls when someone drops out, you get a notification and click a button. CrewRing does the calling.

Two jobs that eat your mornings. Done for you.

Every reply lands on one board, so you only step in when something needs a decision.

Every reply on record

Each SMS and call is logged with its outcome, so “I was never told” has an answer when a client or auditor asks.

  • The 5am sick call

Someone calls in crook. You spend the next hour on the phone trying to fill the gap.

  • No visibility across sites

Who’s confirmed? Who’s running late? You find out when someone doesn’t show.

  • Nothing on paper

Who was told what, and when? Ring-arounds leave no record when a client or auditor asks.

Questions, answered.

Do we need to leave Assignar or Traffio?

No. CrewRing runs alongside your existing system. Today you bring shifts in by building them in CrewRing or importing a spreadsheet export. Direct Assignar and Traffio sync is in development.

How do we get our roster in?

Create shifts in CrewRing, set up recurring schedules for regular work, or import shifts and workers from a CSV file.

Do our workers need to install an app?

No. Confirmations and callouts go out as plain SMS and voice calls, and workers reply the way they already do.

What happens when someone says no?

The shift is flagged on your board, and you can send a callout to available workers, ranked by distance or reply history. The first to accept gets the shift, and everyone else is told it is filled.

Is our data safe?

All connections are encrypted, access is limited to your organisation, and workers who opt out of messages are never contacted.
